Right now you can see me playing the role of Magenta in Rocky Horror Show at Östgötateatern in Sweden. The funny movie, the crazy story and that groovy, energetic soundtrack drew me to this project. And being the first black male to play the role of Magenta gives me great artistic challenges and the creative freedom to create my own version of her. With the rest of the wonderful cast, we’re rocking the house 5 shows a week and having a blast. Book your tickets to do the Time Warp with us HERE.
DON’T DREAM IT, BE IT!
Three sold-out seasons, 150 shows, an audience over 160,000 and winning awards for Best Show and Best Stage. “The Book of Mormon” was an amazing adventure and I had the huge pleasure of playing the role of Mutumbo. It was a privilege to do the show with so many amazing people and unforgettable to work with you. We did “something incredible” together. Thank you 2Entertain and Vickys Nöjesproduktion. Great love and warm thanks to ALL with whom I shared this journey.
I wrote “Alright” in a moment of true belief.
At that point in time, life had been challenging me for a while and I was feeling lonely and out of touch with myself. So I stopped, listened, stayed still for a moment and asked myself some hard but honest questions. The answers I got were maybe not what I had expected, but nonetheless true. And they were mine. I knew I was going to pull through, make a change and find my way again.
I believe we all have our own answers, if we give ourselves the chance to ask the questions.
“Tell me” is the first release from Swedish soul artist Andy Keetla. The song is an easy listening take on love, a reminder in a bitter and harsh world that love is the key to knowing ourselves.
The concept for the video was created by Andy and was shot on location in Stockholm,
with photographer Daniel Sahlberg.
